Jade and Juliette were the first kids that we’ve had the pleasure to spend time with. Jade is seven years old, and Juliette is 9 years old. They are kind-hearted and brilliant kids! Jade was hospitalized with cancer and is now in remission. Once Coach Art connected us with Jade and Juliette, we started meeting with them a couple times a month. When we first met with them, we got to know each other through games and activities to make sure everyone was comfortable with each other. On our second meeting with them, we began designing their dream dresses. We had them do a free sketch following the template of their choice. In our next couple of meetings we chose the fabrics they wanted incorporated and sent the designs to the seamstress. It has been a pleasure getting to know Jade and Juliette!
